Our memorials are designed, customized, and finished onsite in Missouri Valley, Iowa by our family and our team.
We work with established American granite suppliers who source stone from both domestic and select international quarries, depending on color, availability, and performance characteristics. All granite we offer is chosen for durability and suitability for Midwest conditions.
In some cases, we may order a memorial that includes a pre-shaped or partially designed base template from an American supplier. Final design details, customization, engraving, and quality review are completed by our team before delivery or installation.

We hear this one a lot! It’s pronounced “luss hills” (rhymes with bus, not dose).
The Loess Hills are a rare and scenic landform that runs along Western Iowa, including areas near Missouri Valley, Council Bluffs, and the Omaha metro. Made of fine wind-blown soil called loess, these hills are found in only a few places in the world — and they’re part of what makes this region so unique.
We named our memorial company after the Loess Hills because, like these hills, the memories we help preserve are rooted in place and unique to the lives we honor.
